A highly architectural slab with strictly parallel striations from the vein-cut process. The linear banding combines deep charcoal, silver-grey, warm taupe and crisp white ribbons, with the classic, naturally porous texture of raw travertine.
Silver Travertine is a firm favourite in contemporary UK and European architecture for its sleek, linear look. Its weather resistance and strength make it ideal for high-end building facades, modern pool surrounds, interior wall cladding and minimalist bathrooms.
Texture Close-Up
This close-up shows vein-cut Silver Travertine before any surface processing, with the open pores and natural voids the stone is quarried with. Layers of compression and minerals form its unmistakable ribbons of time in greys, creamy beiges, platinum and dark charcoal.
Unfilled travertine is sought after for modern and rustic looks, especially outdoor flooring and feature walls. For high-traffic interiors such as kitchen worktops, the pores are usually filled with resin, mastic or cement for a smooth, workable surface.
