Material: Exotic Pink Onyx, a natural semi-precious stone also known as Persian Pink Onyx or Rose Onyx.
The stone has a dramatic, heavily brecciated (fractured) structure. Intense pink, mauve and violet translucent crystalline pockets are bound together by thick, earthy brown, rust and golden veins.
Onyx is naturally translucent, which makes this vibrant slab ideal for backlit applications. Lit from behind, the pink and purple sections glow while the dense brown veining stays opaque, creating a striking luxury feature wall, custom bar top or high-end reception desk.
Backlit Presentation
Under direct backlighting the stone transforms. The dense veins of deep maroon, earthy brown and charcoal become a shadowed silhouette, while the translucent crystalline pockets glow with brilliant white, soft pink and warm amber.
